Today we have the joy and the privilege to test our first Kempower DC charging station. These get great reviews but for all the charging we have done with our Hyundai Ioniq, we never came across one. Granted, Ionity, which we use a lot goes with individual stations each able to power 350kW. This is a different architecture and one that makes a lot more sense to me, ie it's shared and therefore more scalable. All of that would make no difference to the end user, if there is no queuing.
What does make a difference though is the ability to see where you stand on your charge by just looking up a QR code. Granted for most modern cars, you'll have your own connected app, but in our case we don't and this is quite handy, especially considering the speed at which our car charges.
