Kuwait on Thursday (26/2) celebrated its seventh anniversary of liberation from Iraq's invading forces. Baroness Thatcher, the former British Prime Minister arrived in Kuwait as a guest of the Crown Prince Sheikh Sa'd Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah to join in the country's independence
celebrations. The Baroness became a popular figure in Kuwait due to her strong backing to use force to end the Iraqi occupation of the country in 1991.
