Polihale Beach on Kauai is the longest stretch of white sand in the Hawaiian Islands. And, it's at the south end of the Na Pali cliffs, so the view is amazing. There's almost no one there, ever. THIS VIDEO is not about the beach, but the drive to get there. One must drive over 5 miles of bouncy dirt roads past farmers fields to get there. Having said that, we did it in our typical little rental car - just take your time. Bring food, water, and beach gear - be prepared to hang out in a spectacular setting like nowhere else!
By the way, this video was shot using a BeHolder SP 3-axis handheld gimbal and my Samsung Galaxy S4 phone.
PS: As far as I know this beach is not really for swimming, due to currents / surf / generally scary conditions. But it is a fantastic place to walk / sit / picnic / and otherwise appreciate the beauty of it all.
