In this fun and challenging workshop, students are guided through a unique wheel-throwing technique known as “throwing off the hump”. Students leave the workshop with extensive knowledge of the “hump” method as well as a wheel-thrown piece of art from local accomplished ceramist Jim Kerns. Kerns and Kelsey Sorensen, Hearst’s Ceramics Lab Technician, will co-conduct the workshop.
