You will need:
16 oz dried chickpeas
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup yogurt
1/2 cup tahini
1/4 lemon juice (to taste)
3 cloves garlic (to taste)
salt to taste
**2/3 chickpea cooking liquid reserved**
4 pieces of pita bread
Decorate / garnish with
Pomegranate seeds
Chopped parsley
Sprinkle of cumin
Sprinkle of paprika
Pine nuts toasted in ghee or butter
