Ube kalamay is one of the many snacks Pinoys love to eat. It has a mild sweet taste from the sugar, milk and yam & soft and gooey texture from the cooked sticky rice. Perfect for the afternoon snack paired with coffee or tea!
UBE KALAMAY RECIPE:
1 can coconut cream (for the latik)
2 cups glutinous rice flour
3/4 cup sugar (any sugar)
3 cans (400ml) coconut milk
2 tsp ube flavored coloring
1 cup purple yam jam (ube halaya)
