Shayan Chowdhury Arnob is a singer, lyricist, and a painter. This gem took ‘Esraj’ lessons since his childhood and gradually explored the vast world of music. The songs of Arnob gave a new dimension to Bangla music and his individuality made him the beloved of Bangladesh. With each performance, he takes his admirers to a journey of sheer melody.
The euphony of Folk music from around the world comes back to its’ abode; to the land of Lalon, to the rivers of Bhatiali, to the sound of Bhawaiya.
‘Dhaka International FolkFest’ is a celebration of sheer musical brilliance where myriads of folk artistes from home and abroad perform on a single platform. From the very beginning, our journey has been bestowed with more than 500 artistes from 17 countries and made it the biggest folk music festival of Asia.

গায়ক, গীতিকার, চিত্রশিল্পী শায়ান চৌধুরী অর্ণবের সংগীতের সাথে বেড়ে ওঠা সেই ছোটবেলা থেকে। ক্লাস সেভেনে পড়ার সময় হাতে তুলে নেন এসরাজ। শান্তিনিকেতন থেকে এমএফএ ডিগ্রি নিয়ে বাংলাদেশের গানের জগতে নিজস্ব একটি স্টাইল তৈরি করেছেন। জীবনের সাথে জড়িয়ে থাকা গানই অর্ণবকে জনপ্রিয় করে তোলে সাধারণ মানুষের মাঝে। বাংলা গানের ভুবনে দর্শকদের কাছে এক উন্মাদনার নাম অর্ণব।
সান ফাউন্ডেশনের উদ্যোগে আয়োজিত ‘ঢাকা ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ফোকফেস্ট’ লোকসংগীতের এক মিলনমেলা। এ উৎসবে বিশ্বের নানা প্রান্তের লোকসংগীত শিল্পীদের পরিবেশনায় অসাধারণ সব লোকগান শোনার সুযোগ পায় বাংলাদেশের মানুষ।
