International human rights law protects the right of forcibly displaced people to their territory of origin. Despite the challenges, the people of Nagorno-Karabakh remain resolute in their determination to return to their homeland, to determine their political future, and to exercise their own democratic self-governance.
This event will argue that the keys to a sustainable peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan include:
- The right of return of the Armenians of Nagorno Karabakh
- Freedom for Armenian Hostages held in Baku
- Protection of cultural heritage in Nagorno Karabakh
