The Feiyu-Tech G4 is a motorized three axis gimbal that's mounted to a handheld wand. This is a very similar design to those used on drones but I use mine for filming short videos with my GoPro. The unit works with most GoPro 3 and GoPro 4 units and can even fit the larger deeper back because it has extra long screws (incuded). This unit was purchased on Amazon for ~$395 and has worked well despite not having updated the firmware. I think to upgrade it you'd need a PC as the software did not seem compatible with my Mac.
