Al-Kadhimiya Holy Shrine witnessed a massive influx of pilgrims, who came from various Iraqi provinces, to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Muhammad al-Jawad, peace be upon him, while the Holy Shrine continues with its mourning programs to commemorate the painful tragedy, which coincides with the final days of the month of Dhul-Qa'dah.
Over the past two days, the followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, participated in the mourning activities and programs held in the Holy Shrine, which were attended by a group of Husseini preachers, who shed light on the biography and life of the Imam, and his honorable roles in disseminating the Islamic message after the martyrdom of his father Imam al-Redha, peace be upon him, all the way to his unjust martyrdom at the hands of the enemies of religion and humanity.
Poets recited poems in honor of the Imam, peace be upon him, as the attendees expressed their mourning through the ritual of beating their chests.
The mourning rituals, according to the footage and video clips aired by al-Jawadin TV and followed by Shia Waves, were held amid the mourners’ commitment to the necessary health measures.
