A Borla "ATAK" Cat-Back System will significantly increase exhaust flow over the restrictive factory exhaust system for a dramatic increase in rear wheel horsepower and an aggressive throaty sound that is not for the faint of heart.
ATAK Technology. The included muffler were engineered using Borla's ATAK (Acoustically-Tuned Applied Kinetics) technology. Delivering the highest dB (decibel) levels possible for a street legal muffler, ATAK muffler are tuned like a graphic equalizer to shape and focus sound waves for optimum high-volume output, all while avoiding distortion and retaining clarity of sound. ATAK muffler are ideal for those hardcore F-150 enthusiasts who prefer to hear the sound of their exhaust over the sound of their stereos.
High Quality Construction. Manufactured from ultra-smooth mandrel bent 3" diameter T-304 stainless steel tubing into the muffler and exiting with dual 2.25" tubing to improve exhaust flow. This Borla Cat-Back exhaust system includes a Mid Pipe resonator and features the race inspired "ATAK" muffler and 4" chromed stainless steel tips, that are embossed with the Borla logo exiting out at the rear of your truck for both impressive looks and great sound.
Direct Bolt-on Upgrade. Borla's ATAK Cat-Back Exhaust bolts straight up in the stock location with no cutting or extra modifications required. Installation of this Borla Cat-Back can be completed in about two hours with just basic hand tools. This ATAK Cat-Back reuses the existing factory hangers and electronics for installation.
Application. This Borla ATAK Split Rear Exit Cat-Back Exhaust System is designed to fit the 2015-2016 5.0L F-150s with the following Cab and Bed Sizes:
SuperCab with the 6.5 ft. Bed
SuperCrew with the 5.5 ft. Bed
Application Note. This Borla Cat-Back Exhaust System can be used on a SuperCab with a 8 ft. Bed or SuperCrew with a 6.5 ft. Bed with use of a Borla Exhaust Adapter. SuperCabs with a 8 ft. Bed will require Borla's 163 in. Wheelbase Exhaust Adapter, part# 60564, for proper installation. SuperCrews with a 6.5 ft. Bed will require Borla's 157 in. Wheelbase Exhaust Adapter, part# 60556, for proper installation.
