If your H-1B wasn't picked up in the lottery, there's another way to get H-1B without lottery. It's called the H-1B Cap Exempt.

The H-1B lottery was completed earlier this month and now we know that almost ~500K applications were filed. Obviously only 85K got it for now and that means a lot of people didn't make through the lottery. However, there's still a way for some people to get thier H-1Bs by applying and securing a H-1b Cap exempt role.
