IMPORTANT!!!!!!
I mentioned the Start date being changed to track change of event. My apologies for the mistake. The start date will NEVER be changed, because it is a part of our PRIMARY KEY. Only the change will be tracked on the Non Key attributes, which have to be agreed with customers upfront. The START date is usually received initially to enable History management. There are cases where the Customer also provides the END DATE. So in those cases, the END DATE would not be manipulated rather the one coming from the SOURCE will be used.
So the History will be tracked on the agreed NON-KEY attribute based on PRIMARY KEY + Start Date i.e. the complete KEY of the Record, which in our example is CUST_ID +START DATE and CUST_ADD being HISTORISED.
