I took a day tour in Armenia because my stay was quite short. Together with my small group I've visited some of the world's oldest churches and monasteries located in the extremely beautiful mountain setting: Khor Virap and Novarank. We also tried the famous Jermuk spring (the taste is unforgettable!)

Interesting facts: Armenia has a intriguing history - being the first country officially adopted christianity and built the first church in the world. Yerevan is one of the oldest cities in the world (29 years older than Rome).
