As far as salvage jobs go, Oasis debut album Definitely Maybe was an extraordinary achievement. Recorded at a cost of £75,000 using several different studios, the album betrays few of the problems that dogged its seven month gestation.
“Recording an album should never have been this difficult” reflected Noel Gallagher.
I will take you on a journey from studio to studio, cronicallying their journey from the very first song Oasis recorded in Out of the Blue studio up until the final song recorded by Noel Gallagher in Mark Coyles living room.
