Part 1 The Early Years (1986 - Q1 1988) covers the 19 vertical flying shooters released for the ST in both commercial and Public Domain/Shareware for the first two years of the system's game development lifetime. This series does not cover single screen shooters that happen to have a scrolling starfield background (like Better Dead than Alien). We will cover those in another series.
