During Flight 2930 from Las Vegas to Charlotte, the crew of an American Airlines Airbus A321 receive a report from cabin crew that fumes are entering the cabin, and some on board are becoming ill. The flight crew declares an emergency and diverts to Phoenix. As the aircraft approaches Phoenix, approach controllers juggle incoming traffic to get the emergency aircraft down to meet aviation fire and rescue personnel.
