On June 23--24, The Phillips Collection held a national forum, "Teaching through the Prism of Arts Integration," to explore and advocate for arts integration in K-12 education. Attended by 170 educators and change agents from 17 states, participants tested arts integration strategies through "experiment stations" led by 23 Phillips best-practice Mentor Teachers. Participants also explored advocacy strategies and conducted action research on the museum's emerging teaching framework. Noteworthy speakers at the forum included President's Committee on the Arts and Humanities Executive Director Rachel Goslins, arts integration advocate Eric Booth, and neuroscientist Rex Jung.
