The South African Communist Party has launched a discussion document called "Going to the Root. A Radical Second Phase of the National Democratic Revolution".
The document takes a look at the social environment in which the South African economy is operating. It points out that since 1994, there has been a mass capital flight from SA. The SACP says huge trans-nationalisation and financialisation of formerly South African monopoly capital has seen a very large loss of savings, taxes and investment.
