How to practice a #FreddieHubbard lick in all keys
This is my unedited process of how I like to break licks down so I can play them in all 12 keys and multiple registers on trumpet. You'll witness me talk through my thoughts and my process as I go.
I mention topics on:
1) range and how to visualize sound
2) how to release unnecessary tension
3) Breaking down licks into manageable chunks for transposing
**WARNING** You will hear wrong notes, cracked notes and just outright bad sounds but it's practice. I'm not supposed to sound good...haha!
