Doing some math on White Wood vs Black Root Trinket vs Warden Trinket:
At the end of the video my dexterity is 1366.1 and I have a 67% boost from mastery. Therefore, my real dexterity is 818. Adding 142 dexterity with the Black Root Trinket +9 would make my final dexterity 1603.2 (17.3% extra dexterity). Adding +20% boost for an 87% boost would make my final dexterity 1529.7 (12.0% extra dexterity).
Of course, more upgrades in the castle or wearing even more pieces of the black root set (that is, the headgear and chest) would further incentivize the White Wood Trinket, while more mastery levels would make the Black Root Trinket even better.
Of double course, both flat dexterity and mastery also make the Warden Trinket better.
On skill crits, the Warden Trinket is worth 10% super crit chance. My base crit, black root unity, and super crit runes give 55%/2+25%=52.5% super crit chance. Since my super crit multiplier is 1.85, my average multiplier due to super crits before the Warden unity is 1.85*52.5%+1*(1-52.5%)=1.446, while with the Warden unity it would be 1.85*62.5%+1*(1-62.5%)=1.531. The ratio between those two values is 1.059, so keeping Warden on is on average about a 6% increase in final damage on skill crits. At least, I believe it influences the Strength component too, although on a skill crit my strength contributes less than a third of the damage, so this makes it more like around an 8% effective dexterity increase). This would appear to not be worth as much as the increase in dexterity, but I wouldn't give up vitality or armor for it.
On Regular hits the Warden trinket brings attacks from 55% crit to 75% crit. This is just like making dexterity worth 36% more (multiplicative with other multipliers), which is definitely the best value.
Of course, the real value of the Warden Trinket is somewhere in the middle and very hard to try to calculate, but I think I'm at least justified in keeping it on for a while.
