In my second devlog, I make a final decision on which game engine to use for my dream game "Gridiron". To help, I create a route running, game state, and formation system in Unreal Engine and mix 3D and 2D in the Godot Engine. In the end, I know which engine to use.

Unreal Engine is a powerful next-gen engine for PC and consoles.

Godot is a 2D and 3D engine initially released in 2014 and is currently awaiting a stable 4.0 release with additional features.
