A part by part analysis of the key ideas of every chapter in Volume 2 of the Second Sex. In another episode of Read and Discuss with me, we talk about the highly influential 'Second Sex' by Simone de Beauvoir, which is considered a fundamental feminist text, and is one of the foundations of second wave feminism. I know lately these videos have not been 15 minutes, but I still try to be as concise and simple as possible, to make these classics more accessible and understandable. I aim to offer a non biased summary, that contains little of my opinion, it is the author’s key ideas that I summarise. I hope you enjoy the video, and thank you for being patient.
