Our country is rich in coal reserves from which humic acid is prepared to improve soil health and crop production. It is a precious product worldwide and may be used to reduce soil pH value of saline soils. No doubt some of the effective products of humic acid like Porus FMC and Enrich Syngenta are also available in the market but most are of substandard quality in our market. There is a very wide range of its products which are being marketed without any check and balance of their analysis. Department of agriculture was not willing to aqllow the substandard material as humic acid but most of the companies are selling their humic acid after getting stay order from the court since 2013. This stay order is the proof either of the fakeness of marketed humic acid or ineligibility of regulating authority or department of agriculture. Hence, it is very difficult to declare any product as the best one.
