Actor John Travolta, while introducing the 'In Memoriam' section of the 2023 Oscars, becomes visibly emotional when he references his late Grease co-star Olivia Newton-John, who died last year.

The success of Grease fired the pair to international super-stardom. Travolta references the song lyric 'hopelessly devoted to you' which was sung by Newton-John in the musical.
