Real Estate in Plano TX 75075, in regards to the housing market, has not had a significant change in numbers. The recent issue with the virus has businesses closed with the exception of those that are considered essential. Most everyone is working from home if possible, none the less at home. The real estate market here in Plano, according to the recent numbers pulled from the North Texas Real Estate Information Systems (NTREIS), is still seeing activity.

This video and data on the housing market in Plano TX 75075 is from today Mar 27, 2020.
The research was based on numbers from multiple analyses. A long term dating from January 2003 to February 2020. Another dating back three years and the most recent of the previous 7 days recorded. Numbers were taking from Closed Sales, Pending (homes for sale that went under contract) and New Listings, specifically for real estate Plano, TX 75075. There was not much difference between the long term and the 3 yr chart. The most recent look at the previous 7 days recorded is also in line with the previous charts.

This may change as long term effects may show up in the data. For now, homeowners are still listing their homes on the market which can be verified by the “New Listings” of 12 on the recent 7 day data. Home buyers are still putting contracts on homes and buyers with existing contracts have for the most part not been pulling out of contract.
The Plano real estate market does not appear to have slowed down. Due to the restrictions put in place, there have been no “open houses” but the real estate industry was classified as essential business. Previews can still take place with video, after a buyer views a complete video on the home, arrangements can be made and precautions take place for the safety of all parties involved.
There are many steps in the homes selling/buying process. These days with the technology, much of this can be handled online. Title companies also have and provide mobile closings. The few things that still need human interaction – the buyer will probably want to physically at the house before submitting contract. Home inspection will need to be done by a licensed inspector. An appraiser may have to enter the house although there has been some news that may allow them to do visual form the outside, check with the lender. Most documents, photos, reports, video can be done via online.
