SpaceX president defends Elon Musk over sexual misconduct claims: 'I believe the allegations to be false.
In an email to staff last week, SpaceX President and COO Gwynne Shotwell defended Elon Musk in response to sexual misconduct charges made at the company's CEO, according to CNBC.
"I personally feel the allegations are false," Shotwell wrote, "not because I work for Elon, but because I have worked closely with him for 20 years and have never seen or heard anything matching these allegations."
Musk has disputed the charges, calling them "wild accusations," alleging that he propositioned a flight attendant on one of SpaceX's private planes in 2016.
