It's summer which means teachers all over the world are continuing to work just as hard as they have all school year. It also means many of them are on the lookout for new lesson ideas, curricular items and picture books to use during the upcoming school year.
Over the past month or so, I've shared several picture book reviews, particularly of books that may not be as commonplace in the classroom. Of course, I am also highlighting how each of these books can be used to support a variety of social-emotional learning skills.
Today, I am sharing Stick and Stone by Beth Ferry. This book contains light-hearted illustrations and a fantastic message about friendship and the power of helping out our peers. Enjoy!
