Hello & Welcome to the final part of my 9 day holiday on The North Yorkshire Moors Railway
Coming up in the final part of this 9 episode series.
The railway host there biggest event on there calendar The War Time Weekend.
We start at the sheds were we see the locos being prepared for a busy day ahead.
We see 45428 Eric Treacy being coaled at the coaling stage before heading off to get watered then proceed to the station to run the 1st train of the day.
Here we board the train for the run up the 1 in 49 grade to Goathland.
At Goathland I left the train and joined 76079 for the run back to Grosmont soon we arrived back here 76079 was removed and 75029 The Green Knight tuck over for the run to Whitby.
Soon we arrived at Whitby and see 75029 run round ready for the run back to Grosmont.
This was to be my last run from the harbour resort before I returned home the next morning.
We return to Grosmont were we board the Q6 63395 for the run to Pickering (not recorded).
We see her leave back for Grosmont, Next we see 61994 The Great Marquess arrived with the dining train. We join the train for the return trip back to Grosmont.
We end this video at the sheds right up to darkness seeing the trains pass by right up to evening shed scenes.
We end with 75029 backing towards the sheds and evening scene at the shed were we end this video and for indeed this 9 part series.
