Brown recluse spider bites are over diagnosed to say the least. Patients wrap themselves around the drama. Providers resort to this diagnosis when they are not sure and many times it is a skin abscess. In this perplexing case, a 40 year old gentleman was diagnosed with a Brown Recluse spider bite which did not improve. It was misdiagnosed, which led him to our clinic. It's important to know how to identify your plants in the outdoors and also what to avoid.
