Pluses:
Nataya Resort was the most amazing hotel we have ever stayed! The facilities were impeccably clean, the food was outstanding, and the view was something out of a fantasy. The overlook of the jungle combined with the quiet environment was so serene.
The most amazing part of the resort though was the kind and friendly staff. Everyone knew us by name and wanted to know what activities we liked. They provided excellent activities including yoga, trekking through the rice terrace, and a dance performed by all of the children in the local village. They made us feel like family. Never before had we felt so connected to a hotel staff. We felt like family and were so sad to leave!
We stayed at Natya for the last 4 days of our honeymoon, and despite the near constant rain, it was perfect. On entering our villa, a four poster bed greeted us, and the place was huge. Equipped with a ceramic bathtub, an indoor and outdoor shower, and sliding doors that opened up onto the pool and a view of the jungle, it was basically paradise. Poolside, there was a large sofa-style lounger with a roof and some cushions, so we were able to still sit outside and enjoy the view when it was raining. The staff couldn't do more for you, and like everywhere else in Bali, are very polite. Only 10 minutes from Tegallalang and 15 minutes from Ubud, it was a good location.
Minuses:
The last shuttle bus into Ubud and back were a little early in the evening. A gym at this hotel would have been awesome!
