Scott Pilgrim Vs The Animation was made by Adult Swim and is owned by Adult Swim.

The comic also featured a few more scenes about Scott and Lisas friendship and how Scott was an asshole to her. It and also mentions Kim’s friend Lauren who appears in the final montage bit of the animation. Scott’s parents even show up in one scene and Scott’s brother Lawrence is name dropped twice without showing up until later in the series.
