Taken from the OFFICIUM TRISTE full length album titled 'Hortus Venenum' on Transcending Obscurity Records

Dutch death/doom metal band Officium Triste are all set to release their seventh full length album which is titled Hortus Venenum. Preorders for this one will be up in the coming month via Transcending Obscurity Records.

Band's statement, "Behind Closed Doors is the first single and opening track of Hortus Venenum. When we were working on this song we named it the horror song due to that keyboard part. Martin came up with the song title. The lyrics deal with real live horror.

Hortus Venenum means poison garden. Now actual poison gardens do exist, but we use it as a metaphor. Paolo Girardi perfectly painted the idea we had for the cover. You’ll figure it out!"
