Serial killers are psychopaths who kill without any motive except for their own pleasure. This film is about a Serial sex Killer who sends a wave of panic across Hyderabad city A point to be noted here is that in the past one might have seen films with a serial killer but no movie ever has been made in India completely based on a serial killer.

Brief Synopsis of "Anukshanam"

One night in the city, a gruesome murder of a young woman takes place. A body is recovered from a lover's park. The State of the woman’s body shocks the cops.
The cops,greatly disturbed by the incident, set out to catch the killer . But before they can even get hold of the case few more bodies of other young women start showing up at different parts of the city
These sudden gruesome murders send a wave of terror across the city. Media flares up the already scared people and the news of the killings become the talk of the town.
Slowly and surely the brutal murders of young women start affecting the life of all ordinary citizens of Hyderabad
The government and the cops start panicking even as the public’s fear grows
Women are warned by the police commissioner not to step out of their homes alone after 7pm. This terrorizes the city to its core and the city starts looking like a ghost town at night with restaurants having no occupancy and multiplexes cancelling night shows.. and amidst all this the killer keeps looking for fresh girls to kill.
