"Siamese Dream" by The Smashing Pumpkins was one of the definitive alt-rock classics of the 1990s. For me, as a newly minted teenager upon its release in 1993, "Siamese Dream" was one of two to three bands that really got me excited about discovering new music and sharing that discovery with others. Songs like "Cherub," "Today," and "Disarm" are fan favorites, and I'd add some personal favorites to the mix, like "Mayonaise" and "Spaceboy."
