This month I was planning to visit our partner organization Alvelal in Spain, together with my new colleague Mélissa, from Ecosia’s growing tree-planting team. But due to last minute travel restrictions due to the pandemic, we decided to call the visit off, in order not to put anyone in danger.

In this episode I give you the most important updates from Spain, India, Indonesia and Ethiopia. In this episode I also give you an update from Brazil, where last year’s devastating fires are dwarfed in comparison to the damage that Brazil’s forests are suffering in 2020.

Thankfully, your searches allow us to support our partners in firefighting activities, which so far have helped us save more than 3 million trees in the Atlantic Forest since 2019.
