(16 Aug 2017) The Israeli military says it demolished early on Wednesday the West Bank home of a Palestinian man who stabbed three Israelis to death in their home last month.
Omar al-Abed, 19, was shot and injured by an off-duty soldier and was arrested at the scene of the July 21 attack.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called him a "beast" who was incited to hate Jews.
Israel demolishes the homes of Palestinians who carry out attacks on Israeli civilians and security personnel as a deterrent measure.
On Tuesday, police said they planned to charge five members of the attacker's family for failing to stop him from carrying out the stabbing in a neighbouring settlement.
The five were arrested in the past week and face prosecution for failing to prevent a crime.
