Naruto (Massive Rasengan Barrage) pretty much is the same old version as any other Naruto, but with way better neutral! He does a lot of damage, has fast jutsus, great speed and his infinite is still one of the best of the game. His overall ninja toolkit complements his neutral very well and gives him the best ways to get in on his opponent. The fact that his combo routes have been improved to its limits in Connections give him even more viability as a point character and makes him a deadly force on any team!

Naruto has two primary jutsus in his arsenal. His first jutsu is the Rasengan and he has the most powerful variant of it in the game. He is able to cancel it at will, has armor on it, travels fast and it has great tracking. The fact that you can even confirm your kunais after it hits is also a great thing for restands. You can also use this as a nice combo finisher, since it leaves your opponent grounded on hit.

His second jutsu allows him to throw himself towards his opponent and when he makes contact with them he summons multiple shadow clones that attempt to launch their opponent in the air. During the activation of this jutsu you have armor, so you are relatively safe whenever you decide to use this. It is also good to know that you can cancel this jutsu at any moment. This allows you to create even more setups with this jutsu and potentially trap your opponent in this move. When combined with an unblockable assist you can deal some heavy damage with this jutsu!

Overall, this version of Naruto is great and a much better point character than TBB Naruto in my opinion. Definitely check him out if you haven’t already!
