Sysav aims to be climate positive by 2030 and is investigating the possibilities of capturing carbon dioxide and storing it underground. We plan to build a facility at the waste-to-energy plant in Malmö that can capture 90% of our carbon dioxide emissions. The technology is called CCS - Carbon Capture and Storage - here is how it works.
