Tina Gillihan, the founder and executive director of the Basin Dream Center for Orphans in Midland, Texas, is on a mission to help young ladies ages 17 to 24-years-old who are aging out of foster care, homeless, or at risk of homelessness. Gillihan, a mother of three biological children and an experienced foster parent, has helped 28 girls as of September 2020, since the Center opened in 2017. The free program is designed to give young women the tools and stability to grow into independent adults.
