The Pompano have started their run here in Navarre and Pensacola, heck even in Destin. This is a quick video how how to target and catch Pompano in the Surf. It starts with reading the beach and finding a good trough, cut, or rip to set up in. Then comes the bait, sand fleas are abundant right now and can easily be found right in the surf. The next thing is the dropper rig tips with sand flea and fishbites and an appropriate weight. I am using a Sinker Guy sputnik. Next is to cast it out and very your casts, one short and one long. Now grab your favorite beverage and hold on. In Florida the Pompano size is 11 inches at the fork. Thanks for watching!
