Royal Air Force Eurofighter Typhoons from Romania participate in Nato exercise || Typhoon planes from the Royal Air Force (RAF) in Romania have travelled to North Macedonia to take part in Nato's important exercise Swift Response. The Typhoons of the Royal Air Force were sent to Romania as part of Operation BILOXI. As part of the 140 Expeditionary Air Wing, the RAF No. 3 Fighter Squadron's Typhoon fighter planes are based at Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base in Romania. On behalf of Nato, these planes and the Romanian Air Force took part in intensified air policing and vigilance operations. Above 40 additional aircraft took part in the maneuvers over the Krivolak training grounds in North Macedonia, in addition to the Typhoon fighter jets.
