Michael Dodds, OP answers the question: what is the human soul? He discusses the hylomorphic composition of a human and shows that each person is a substantial form, inseparably soul and primary matter. The substantial form of the soul informs the primary matter, which is the mere possibility of being, resulting in an individual human being. The soul is the form determining that a human is a human.
