3. SOUNDBITE (Serbian) Milorad Dodik, president of Republika Srpska:
"What is the aim of this resolution? You want to impose this story on us? Because it's a non-binding resolution? Well, we will not accept it - I am telling you all straight now - we will not accept it. It will not enter our schoolbooks. We will not commemorate July 11th - this is your day. We are not accepting anything that it's written in there (UN resolution)."

"Republika Srpska is a side that signed the Dayton peace agreement. All of its annexes and also the constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina. And it is exiting Bosnia and Herzegovina. And we are exiting as of today. We will do it peacefully. We will not cause a single act of violence. And you all try to establish what you like to call a "functioning Bosnia and Herzegovina." We will see how it will function from now on."

STORYLINE:
Bosnian Serb leader Milorad Dodik said on Thursday that Republika Srpska, the Serb entity in Bosnia, will leave Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In a press conference held in Srebrenica, Dodik, aggravated by the UN's Srebrenica genocide resolution, said that "the exit starts today," adding that Bosnian Serbs will not accept the UN resolution - or "anything written in it."
"I am telling you all straight now - we will not accept it. It will not enter our schoolbooks. We will not commemorate July 11th - this is your day," said Dodik.
"We are exiting as of today. We will do it peacefully. We will not cause a single act of violence," added Dodik, regarding Republika Srpska's exit from Bosnia.
Dodik also claimed there are a number of people listed as victims of the Srebrenica genocide who are still alive and have accurate Bosnian identity cards.
He offered no evidence, and waved a booklet containing pictures and information on individuals. AP could not independently verify his claims.
All of the victims buried at the memorial center in Srebrenica have been identified by DNA samples, through the work of the International Commission of missing persons.
