I continue my test drive of BYD's Yuan Plus from San José to La Fortuna (in Costa Rica) and soon find out, after the initial scare, that the vehicle's power regeneration actually works—and beautifully so—as long as the conditions are right. I take the opportunity to figure out how many charging stations I can find en route. The answer isn't what you'd expect.
