In this film I'll show you why it's better to use a semi-automatic autotuber than a normal belay device. Autotubers only have advantages. Especially when belaying your body on the ground, when climbing multi-rope lengths and when abseiling. Prusik is no longer necessary when abseiling. I've been using the Edelrid Giga Jul for over 5 years, it's a great belay device, especially because you can also use a double rope. Now, however, the Climbing Technology, the Alpin Up Autotube, has the edge. Check out my review:

Ich setze das Edelrid Giga Jul schon über 5 Jahre ein, das ist ein tolles Sicherungsgerät, vor allem weil man auch ein Doppelseil verwenden kann.
