My take on the 80's hit Blackout from the Scorpions Album Blackout released in 1982. All guitars removed from the original track using Artificial Intelligence and then recorded back by me. Tones are from my Fractal Audio Axe FX3 using the newest firmware 23.04 which included the EVH 100w Stealth amp models. I used the blue channel at stock settings for Matthias' parts and for Rudi's part I wound the gain down to 9 o'clock. Custom IRs were used. Some pultec EQ was added in Reaper (DAW) to the guitars to sharpen them up a bit to get closer to the record and some reverb was added in the box as well. Guitars used in this video are: Matthias' parts - Jackson USA Soloist SL1, Rudi's parts - Ibanez Prestige RG.
