A calculator displays 10 digits.
How many different 10-digit numbers can you type:
- Using just the 0-9 keys once each
- moving from one keypress to the next using the knight’s move in chess
(In chess, the knight moves in an L-shape – two squares up and one across, one square up and two across, one square down and two across.... or two squares down and one across)
On the calculator it would look something like this.
It might look a little complicated at first... but if you pay close attention to the keys one by one, it's very easy to solve.
