Today, we'll look at how I was blackmailed by a squatter while trying to sell one of my rentals. Situations like this happen and it's important to deal with them both carefully and quickly. When bad actors try to take advantage of average landlords, it costs us money. Those costs get passed into the market via higher rent. They're hurting all of the good, honest tenants out there who pay their rent and don't create problems.
