My ball python, Scarlet, had completely outgrown her original setup. It was time move move her in something larger but the prices of pvc enclosures are too high for me to pay when I know that a 4’x8’ sheet of ½” think PVC is only $50..Well…typically.. pre 2021 prices I should say. Now it’s around $450 a sheet online! That’s pure insanity!
So after some searching I found a few sheets about an hour away for $80. So I picked 2 up in case I want to build another one in the future. In the end, I still put way too much money into it, but that’s including everything from the substrate to the new heat panel and thermastats too.
Anyway, here is the build video showing the step by step process I took to create a new world for my girl Scarlet. If you have any questions about any of the products I used, let me know.
